ITAGRI Presentation
The Institute of Technology for Training in the Agri-Food Industries (ITAGRI) was established through a regular meeting of the Queensland University Council in partnership with the Faculties of Agronomy and Environmental Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, assisted by two representatives from the Association of Veterinary Medicine and Veterinary Technicians of Haiti (AMVE-Haiti). Initiated and managed by the Queensland University Council, the Institute of Technology for Training in the Agri-Food Industries (ITAGRI) has the mission of contributing to the improvement of the competitiveness of companies in the agri-food sector and related sectors such as: packaging, plastics, pharmaceuticals, processing industries and training of young people in the field of agri-food.

Mission
The mission of the Institute of Technology for Training in the Agri-Food Industries (ITAGRI) is to offer college-level technical training, both in regular and continuing education programs, in the fields of agri-food processing, agricultural product transformation, food processing, and agri-environmental science, as well as related fields. It may also offer training at other levels of education. The Institute's mission also includes conducting research, carrying out knowledge transfer activities, and providing services to meet the needs of the communities it serves.

To protect the living world through our teaching and our agro-ecological and regenerative practices.

Renewed Organizational Values
Dating from 2010 to the present, our institution's values needed updating to better align with its vision, but above all, to better represent the staff who bring its mission to life every day. Furthermore, as part of the strategic planning exercise undertaken during its creation, the values of our Institute were renewed. They aim to inspire the behaviors and actions that will guide the Institute toward its objectives.

ITAGRI 's Initial Training programs prepare young people for careers in the agri-food industry through certified programs based on the Competency-Based Approach (CBA). Each program combines theory, practice, and work-study placements between the Institute and the company to ensure rapid and sustainable professional employability.

Our 6 Initial Training Programs:

1. Automated Machine Operator (AMO) (Professional Qualification)
Program Overview
This program prepares students to operate and monitor automated machines used in the food processing industry and all other automated production activities.
It emphasizes equipment mastery, quality, productivity, safety, and both dedicated and connected maintenance.

2. Production Team Leader (PTL) (Professional Qualification)
Program Overview
The Production Team Leader program trains professionals capable of organizing, coordinating, and supervising the activities of a production workshop. It develops skills in leadership, team management, hygiene, quality, and performance optimization.

3. Automated Production Technician (APT) (Professional Qualification)
Program Overview
This program prepares technicians capable of operating automated systems, performing advanced adjustments, and optimizing production.
The program combines automation, line operation, quality control, and basic maintenance.

4. Advanced Technician Specialized in the Agri-Food Industry (ATSAI) (Professional Qualification)
Program Overview
The ATSAI program trains versatile professionals who master processing techniques, laboratory and quality control methods, quality management, and the organization of a production workshop.
It prepares students for technical and operational management positions.

5. BTS - Production Controller in the Food Industry
Program Overview
This BTS program trains technicians capable of controlling, analyzing, and optimizing agri-food production processes.
They monitor key performance indicators, ensure product conformity, and perform online quality control.

6. BTS Quality, Hygiene, Safety, and Environment (QHSE)
Program Overview
The BTS QHSE program prepares students to implement and manage QHSE systems, master HACCP standards, and ensure health and regulatory compliance in agri-food companies.

1. Food Technology

Module Overview
This module covers the main food processing techniques and the use of industrial equipment. It enables professionals to master essential processes for meat, dairy, fruits and vegetables, local grains, etc.
Meat Processing Technology: aging, modern cutting, charcuterie, etc.

Dairy Processing Technology: processing, pasteurization, sterilization, concentration, etc.

Présentation
L’Institut de Technologie de Formation des Industries Agroalimentaires (ITFIAGRO) est né d’une assemblée ordinaire du Conseil d’Université Queensland en partenariat avec les Facultés d’Agronomie et des Sciences de l’environnement et de Médecine Vétérinaire assisté par deux représentants de l’Association of Veterinary Medicine and Veterinary Technicians of Haiti (AMVE-Haiti).
Initié et géré par le Conseil d’Université Queensland, l’Institut de Technologie de Formation des Industries Agroalimentaires (ITFIAGRO) a pour mission de contribuer à l’amélioration de la compétitivité des entreprises du secteur agroalimentaire et des secteurs connexes tels que : l’emballage, la plasturgie, l’industrie pharmaceutique, les industries de transformation et formation des jeunes dans le domaine de l’agro-industrie et agroalimentaire.

Mission
La mission de l’Institut de Technologie de Formation des Industries Agroalimentaires (ITFIAGRO) est d’offrir une formation technique de niveau collégial, tant à l’enseignement régulier qu’à la formation continue, dans les domaines agro-industrie, transformation des produits agricoles, agroalimentaire et agroenvironnemental de même que dans les domaines connexes à ces derniers. Il peut aussi offrir une formation relevant d’autres ordres d’enseignement. L’Institut a également pour mission de faire de la recherche, de réaliser des activités de transfert de connaissances et de dispenser des services destinés à répondre aux besoins des collectivités qu’il dessert.

Protéger le monde du vivant par nos enseignements et nos pratiques agroécologiques et régénératives.

Valeurs organisationnelles renouvelées
Datant de 2010 à nos jours, les valeurs de notre institution avaient besoin d’être actualisées afin de mieux cadrer avec sa vision, mais surtout de mieux représenter le personnel qui fait vivre sa mission au quotidien. Aussi, dans le cadre de l’exercice de planification stratégique réalisé au cours de sa création, les valeurs de notre Institut ont été renouvelées. Elles visent à inspirer les comportements et les actions qui porteront l’Institut vers ses objectifs.

Co-créer et partager savoirs et expériences dans un objectif commun visant le développement de l’esprit critique et de la responsabilité collective en agro-industrie et agroalimentaire.

Évolution
Mener l’institut et ses individus vers demain en favorisant l’agilité face aux enjeux sociétaux, climatiques et technologiques en Haïti et dans la communauté caribéenne.

Nous organisons des sessions de formation en stages inter ou intra-entreprise, avec l’objectif de favoriser le développement des compétences, contribuer à la sécurisation des parcours dans le respect des personnes et de la culture de l’entreprise pour laquelle nous œuvrons.

Les Formations Initiales de l’ITFIAGRO préparent les jeunes aux métiers de l’industrie agroalimentaire à travers des programmes certifiant basés sur l’Approche par Compétences (APC). Chaque filière combine théorie, pratique et alternance Institut /Entreprise afin d’assurer une employabilité professionnelle rapide et durable.

Nos 6 filières de formation initiale :
1. Conducteur de Machine Automatisée (CMA) (Titre Professionnel)
Présentation de la filière
Cette formation prépare les apprenants à conduire et surveiller les machines automatisées utilisées dans les industries agroalimentaires et dans toutes autres activités de production automatisée.
Elle met l’accent sur la maîtrise des équipements, la qualité, la productivité, la sécurité, et sur la maintenance privative et connective.

2. Chef d’Équipe de Fabrication (CHEF) (Titre Professionnel)

Présentation de la filière
La formation Chef d’Équipe de Formation forme des professionnels capables d’organiser, coordonner et superviser les activités d’un atelier de production. Elle développe des compétences en leadership, gestion d’équipe, hygiène, qualité et optimisation des performances.
3. Technicien de Production Automatisée (TPA) (Titre Professionnel)

Présentation de la filière
Cette filière prépare des techniciens capables de piloter des systèmes automatisés, assurer les réglages avancés et optimiser la production.

Le programme allie automatisme, conduite de ligne, qualité et maintenance de premier niveau.
4. Technicien Supérieur Spécialisé en Industrie Agroalimentaire (TSSIAA) (Titre Professionnel)
Présentation de la filière

La formation TSSIAA forme des professionnels polyvalents maîtrisant les procédés de transformation, et les techniques de laboratoire et de contrôle qualité, la gestion de la qualité et l’organisation d’un atelier de production.
Elle prépare à des fonctions de responsabilité technique et opérationnelle.

5. BTS - Contrôleur de Production en IAA

Présentation de la filière
Ce BTS forme des techniciens capables de contrôler, analyser et optimiser les processus de production agroalimentaire.
Ils assurent le suivi des indicateurs, la conformité des produits et le contrôle qualité en ligne.
6. BTS Qualité, Hygiène, Sécurité, Environnement (QHSE)

Présentation de la filière
Le BTS QHSE prépare les apprenants à mettre en place et gérer des systèmes QHSE, maîtriser les normes HACCP, et assurer la conformité sanitaire et réglementaire dans les entreprises agroalimentaires.
