History and Development of National Association for Adult Education in Haiti (ANEA Haiti)
ANEA Haiti, the
National Association for Adult Education in Haiti was established in
2000, following the first National Adult Education Conference at School
of Education of Queensland University (UQ), held at Delmas 29 in
November of that year. The name ANEA Haiti is an acronym in the French
language << Association Nationale pour l’Education des Adultes en Haiti
>> meaning 'National Association for Adult Education in Haiti” '.
The word ANEA Haiti itself is also the Haitian word for 'unity' or '
national union', so the intention of the original group of interested
individuals was that the Association would be identified by its
inclusiveness in the ten (10 ) departments of Haiti. If you would like
