Adult Education in Haiti
In Haiti, there are many adults that can not enter to the University and continue their professional studies. The School of Adult Education and Professional Studies helps busy adults complete school degrees on an accelerated schedule. The School offers Bachelor’s Degrees or Degree completion programs in such fields as business management, Tourism and Ecotourism, Christian Rural courses, Nursing, Environment, Agriculture, Christian Ministries and organizational Leadership. Certificates in applied organizational leadership, academic preparedness, and Christian liberal arts appreciation are also available.
Courses may meet general education and course prerequisites, meet admission requirements for graduate programs, and or be taken for personal enrichment. In addition, the school provides a valuable service to adult students by customizing learning plans and offering credit for learning acquired through life experiences. Course Scheduling and format allow students to remain employed while engaged in learning that can be immediately applied to the work place.
Professional
development seminars and workshops are also offered through the
Graduate School and the School of Adult and Professional Studies on
topics ranging from communication and conflicts resolution to methods
of teaching. In addition to its students, the Graduate School and the School of Adult
Education and Professional Studies
(SAEPS) serve other Queensland departments, Churches, organizations,
Christian Schools, and health care agencies.
