Welcome to the Queensland University(UQ) , the premier Christian University in Haiti and one of the most prestigious universities in the Caribbean Region and in Haiti.

Established 14 years ago, the Queensland University (UQ)  has trained more than 6.750 graduates who are making contributions towards the development of Haiti and at the international level.

Guided by a mission of developing world-class human resources and capabilities to meet national development needs and global challenges through quality teaching, learning, research and knowledge dissemination, the Queensland  University (UQ) of Haiti is a leader in tertiary education in Haiti and in the Caribbean Region, and stands out as one of the centres of excellence in Haiti.We greatly appreciate when Timote Georges, an Undergraduate of the Faculty of Agronomy and Environmental Sciences (FAES) of Queensland University (UQ) has received a Scholarship from United Nations (UN) Mandated by University For Peace (UPEACE), San Jose, Costa Rica,  for a Programme of Master in Natural Resources and Peace was the one of the Excellent and actually Timote Georges is the Regional Director for Trees for the Future an American NGO working in Haiti since one (1) year.

The Queensland  University (UQ) Haiti  is renowned for its unique competencies in the various fields of arts, social sciences, business, physical and biological sciences, law, medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, allied health sciences, nuclear and allied sciences, engineering sciences, and agriculture in the Rural and Urban Areas of Haiti.

In January 12, 2010 all the Buildings of Queensland University (UQ) are completely destroyed by the Earthquake, materials and equipments of UQ are under the debris. We lost all but fortunately we are survivors excepted seven (7) Haitian Students who dead under the debris of STEG, IMQ and QLI. And after the quake Queensland University (UQ) is openned a New Campus in the City of Hinche, Plateau Central with 350 Students victims by the earthquake. The University is a member of the International Council for Higher Education (ICHE), Switzerland & India, International Association for the Promotion of Christian Higher Education (IAPCHE), IA, USA, Affiliate Member of Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU), Washington, Dc, United States of America, and Member of International Council for innovation of Higher Education (ICIE) , Toronto, Canada...
