The Haitian South African Center  for Cultural Exchange and Cooperation Studies  (HASACECOP) was created in 2003 by  the Board of Queensland University (UQ) as an Institution of Cooperation between the South African Community and Haitian South African Center for Cultural Exchange and Cooperation (HASACECOP) , this Cooperation will bring together in Higher education Leaders, Durable Social Development (DSD),  Conflict Resolution and Peace, Culture and Society, Diversity, Scholarship and others interested in exploring and sharing views, ideas and examples of innovative ways by which Higher Education, in all aspects of its mission, can foster Social Dialogue and understanding in the context of diverse societies and a broad spectrum Academic Programs leading to Bachelor, Master and Professional Degrees, not only in traditional disciplines with Durable Development Sciences (DDS) , arts and culture, Social Sciences, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences Program, ..etc

The Haitian South African Center for Cultural Exchange and Cooperation (HASACECOP)aims to establish a Fruitful Cooperation with the South African Government, Civil Society of South Africa, South African Universities and others Civil Society  Organizations of South Africa for the reconstruction of Haiti, our mission is to work together with the South African Government and Civil Society Organizations, Universities and Business Organizations in South Africa.
